We invite you to join us on July 11th for a four-hour in-person half-day of mindfulness facilitated by Annie, DeeDee, and Gerry.
Many of us are living in a constant state of fear and worry - about ourselves, our loved ones, our communities, and the world. Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay) talks about how we can learn to transform our worry and fear, and how to live fully and joyfully, even with the difficulties and suffering of life all around us.
During our time together, we will enjoy a guided deep relaxation, mindful movements or outdoor walking meditation (weather depending), a short silent meditation, a recorded talk by Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, and have time to share our experiences with each other. Snacks and tea will be provided.
Because we know the benefits of having a wide diversity of experience in our sanghas, we explicitly welcome people of all races, shapes, sizes, neuro-diversities, gender expressions, sexual orientations and anyone who has ever felt sidelined or marginalized for any reason.

These mindful caregiving sessions are open to all who identify as caregivers. The topics and discussions of this group will be rooted in mindfulness practice and will aim to support those in a parental role, caretaking for an elder, or experiencing another type of caregiving situation by creating a compassionate, reflective space to come together.
