The Path to Happiness in the Present Moment: Understanding the Five Mindfulness Trainings a 6-month Series (Third Training)

Please join us for this relaxed series in which we will practice the Path of Happiness together by deepening our understanding of the Five Mindfulness Trainings (sometimes referred to as Mindfulness Precepts). These trainings are applicable to our daily lives as a way to sustain an easeful, compassionate and healthy way of living. They provide a framework for how we might live our lives in order to contribute to more healing. 

Sessions will be facilitated by Annie Mahon, Jill McKay, and Camille Martone.

We will meet online six Saturdays, 4-5:30PM Eastern Time

August 3 - Introduction to the trainings

August 24  - First Mindfulness Training

Sept 21 - Second Mindfulness Training

Oct 26 - Third Mindfulness Training

Nov 23 - Fourth Mindfulness Training

Dec 14 - Fifth Mindfulness Training and wrap-up (will go until 6PM ET)


Ceremony for the Transmission of The Five Mindfulness Trainings

Transmission of the Mindfulness Trainings is likely (unconfirmed) to be offered by Dharma Teacher Anh-Huong Nguyen in person and online on Saturday, January 4, 2025

In this workshop series we will read and reflect on the trainings with fellow practitioners in both small and large groups. You will get to know others on this journey and prepare yourself for practicing the trainings in your life. If you complete this course, you may choose to receive the transmission of the trainings in January 2024. 

If you have already received the trainings and would like to deepen your understanding of and commitment to the wisdom of the trainings or if you are simply curious and want to learn more about the trainings, you are also welcome to join us.  

This training series is free and we suggest that you make a donation of any amount to help support our workshops.
