You can help our sangha flourish
Join us for a fun afternoon together socializing, meditating, eating, sharing your input and ideas, and learning more about our sangha.
Dear Sangha Friends,
It has been great meeting so many new friends and reconnecting with old friends as we have been doing online since the beginning of the pandemic. Our sangha has grown in many ways.
It has been a long time since we have been able to get together in person and we are excited to invite you to an in-person gathering at our Annual Reflections and Visions. We will gather at our meditation space (at 3812 Northampton Street NW DC 20015) on Sunday, October 8 from 4 to 6pm. In addition to conversation, we will enjoy sharing yummy refreshments from our local Greek restaurant, The Parthenon.
For those of you who live out of town we will gather online on Wednesday October 4 from 7 to 8pm. (BYOS - Bring Your Own Snacks).
In both online and in-person gatherings we will have a short meditation followed by an opportunity for you to share your experience of the sangha and how we can work toward enriching our practice as well as building friendship. Members of the Care Taking Council and working groups will discuss our current projects and ways you may want to get more involved. And finally someone from the Board will briefly share the sangha’s financial budget.
IN PERSON - Sunday, Oct. 8, 4pm - 6pm
3812 Northampton Street NW, DC 20015
Includes refreshments from our local Greek restaurant, The Parthenon*.
*Please register by noon Friday Oct 6 so we can order enough food.
